Is orientation required?
Yes. All new freshmen and transfer students must attend orientation before registering for classes. Continuing (Returning), Transient, 2nd Bachelors, and ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Online students are not required to attend orientation.
How do I register for orientation?
You can register by:
- Visiting our website and selecting the Register Now tab (this opens an email form).
- Calling our office at (915) 747-6752.
Can I change my orientation date after I register?
Yes. You can call us to request a change.
What happens if I miss my orientation date?
You must call our office to reschedule.
Is there a cost for orientation?
No. Orientation is free.
When should I register for orientation?
As soon as you’re admitted. Sessions fill quickly.
Can I attend orientation before I’m admitted?
No. You must be officially admitted before registering.
How will I know my registration is confirmed?
You’ll receive a confirmation after registering to the email used when you applied to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½.
Do I have to attend orientation if I already know my classes?
Yes. Orientation covers more than advising and is required.
