Skov Essay Competition on Business Ethics
Launched in 2013, the Skov Essay Competition on Business Ethics is an annual essay writing contest for students in the El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ region. Students participate in the competition by writing about a topic related to business ethics.
For our next competition (Deadline March 7, 2025), we invite ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ undergraduate students to write on the following topic: “Investigate the ethical responsibilities of businesses when replacing human jobs with AI. Should companies be required to retrain displaced workers?”
The Woody L. Hunt College of Business established the competition as a way to consistently interact with the community and positively influence the ethical climate in the El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ region. Primary funding for the competition is generously provided by Robert E. and Jacqueline Skov.
