The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official voice for all ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ students. We represent, advocate for, and serve the student body of America's Leading Hispanic-Serving University. We strive to create a positive campus life and enriching student experience. We defend students' rights and collaborate with ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Administration to positively impact the health, culture, education, and economy of the community we serve.

• Facilitate student representation by electing officers and Senators to the SGA through annual elections;
• Review and approve legislation that impacts student life, including funding requests for student organizations and university projects;
• Provide student representation on university committees, ensuring student input on key academic and administrative decisions;
• Organize events and initiatives to foster student leadership, such as sponsoring programs that recognize student achievement and campus engagement;
• Address student concerns, advocate for policy changes, and oversee issues related to student conduct and campus life through the SGA Senate.
