ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½

Charlie Gibbens arrived in El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and began working at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in 2004. His first position at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ was Director of Residence Life. During his time as the Director of Residence Life, the department has doubled its portfolio by adding 560 beds in two new student housing complexes. Charlie has earned a BA degree in Communications from the University of Northern Colorado in 1993, and a MA degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 1996. He earned an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Texas at El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in 2009. His dissertation topic centered on student engagement and providing services to increase student success in higher education. As the Assistant Vice President of Student Support, Charlie works very closely with the Dean of Students and the Student Engagement wing of the Division of Student Affairs to support and increase student success at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½.
