THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT EL PASO
2030 STRATEGIC PLAN

The University of Texas at El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ is at the heart of a vibrant city located at the westernmost tip of Texas, where three states and two countries converge along a 54-mile section of the Rio Grande in the mountainous Chihuahuan Desert.
Deeply woven into the University’s character are the distinctive strengths of the people whom we serve.
With a focus on developing the talent of those who have grown up in our region, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ has emerged as America’s most successful Hispanic-serving university.
Partnerships are remarkably strong in the region. The alignment in West Texas among public school districts, El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Community College and the University is exceptional.
Ten years from now, when we reflect on this decade of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½’s history, it is my hope that this strategic plan will have been an important tool that helped us to focus our work and guide the way."
