ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½’s Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) manages ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½’s intellectual property and facilitates the transfer of technologies into commercial products.
We work closely with ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ innovators to identify and evaluate patentable inventions, develop patent prosecution strategies for complex portfolios of inventions.
Through our marketing campaigns and outreach programs, we identify potential licensees and start-up opportunities to promote ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ intellectual property to industry.
We draft, negotiate, and manage all commercialization agreements surrounding ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ intellectual property, including confidentiality agreements, options, license agreements, and collaboration agreements.
We provide educational resources to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ faculty and student innovators, assist start-ups with new company formation and businesses plan development, and provide fundraising and resource matching activities.
