Students also have professional development opportunities in the El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½-Juárez metroplex – the fifth-largest manufacturing hub in North America.
The program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

Fast-track option allows students to earn graduate credit while completing a bachelor's degree.
Daniel Carrera was named the 2022 Texas Young Engineer of the Year by the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. Carrera, a senior associate at Walter P Moore in El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, is the first El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½an to receive the statewide honor from the state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) since 1996.
The versatility of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ industrial engineers allows them to engage in activities that are useful to a variety of businesses, governments and nonprofits. Program graduates work at companies involved in the design, development, testing, production and support of engineered systems.
