For over a century, the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Miners have been "El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s Team." ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Athletics celebrates its longstanding affiliation with the "Sun City" by introducing a brand-new apparel line. The "Sun City Collection" is now available at the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Bookstore or online.

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Soccer Routs Texas Southern, 4-0

With a brace from sophomore Anita Quintero, one goal each by senior Eve Barry and freshman Yesenia Cisneros and three saves from freshman Savanah Finely, the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ soccer team cruised past Texas Southern, 4-0, at University Field Sunday evening.

KTEP Fundraising Continues After Emergency Drive

KTEP Public Media, a service of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, completed an emergency fund drive on Aug. 15-16, but they are still collecting funds on their website. Additional donations can help fill the station’s funding gap.

College of Education Initiative Gets National Coverage

The Miner Teacher Residency Program was recently featured in the news for its high-quality pathway to education. The yearlong residency program pairs student teachers with an educator, allowing them to be fully immersed in a classroom setting and learn through doing.
