African American Studies Program to Host Annual Lecture

Jakobi Williams, Ph.D., is the keynote speaker for this year鈥檚 lecture, which takes place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 in the Undergraduate Learning Center, Room 126. He is the Chair of the Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies at Indiana University-Bloomington.

At 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, members from across all UT System institutions will celebrate the fifth annual 10 at 10 Heart Walk. Walk for 10 minutes to celebrate and create heart health awareness. The walk begins at Centennial Plaza.
