Christian Lopez is a proud El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ native and Chair of the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Master of Public Administration Advisory Board. Christian earned his MPA from ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ with a concentration in Public Policy & Management, along with graduate certificates in Nonprofit Governance and Urban and Regional Planning in December 2021. He currently serves as a Senior Communications Consultant at WSP USA, a global engineering firm, in which he leads public involvement and stakeholder engagement efforts for infrastructure and planning projects for public agencies and municipalities across West Texas and Southern New Mexico. 

He brings over seven years of cross-sector experience in community engagement, project management, and public facilitation, including previous work with the City of El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ as Civic Empowerment Manager, where he led initiatives focused on underserved communities. He remains deeply committed to advancing civic leadership here in El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and supporting graduate students in aligning their academic experience with meaningful, community-driven careers.
