Dr. Lizely Madrigal-Gonzalez

Dr. Lizely Madrigal-Gonzalez is a Program Evaluation Research Specialist for the Research Evaluation and Assessment Services (REAS) unit under the Office of Research & Sponsored Projects at the University of Texas at El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. In the past, she worked as a program evaluator for the Ysleta Independent School District, the El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Empowerment Zone Corporation. Dr. Madrigal-Gonzalez has academic knowledge and actual work experience in evaluation design, qualitative and quantitative methods including descriptive and analytical statistics, educational research, policy analysis, student information systems, and data-driven decision making. Dr. Madrigal-Gonzalez has also served as an external program evaluator for the Workforce Solutions Borderplex. Dr. Madrigal earned a Master’s Degree in Sociology from San Diego State University in 2001, with a concentration in Research Methods. She completed a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from New Mexico State University in 2004. She entered the Educational Leadership doctoral program at the University of Texas at El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in 2007. She received her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Policy, Evaluation and Technology in May 2012. Dr. Madrigal-Gonzalez is also a lecturer for the Chicano Studies Department
