Hector Homero Galicia is the President of Galicia NT, Inc, dba: Ascend: Entrepreneurial Growth. He coaches small business owners to build sustainable business for continuous growth and profitability. Mr. Galicia teaches a course in Hispanic Entrepreneurship at UT El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in the Chicano Studies Dept. Homero Galicia is the host of Hispanic Biz-Success Stories at El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Community College Television. He is gathering the entrepreneurial stories of successful Hispanic Business owners since 2012. He also conducted a series of Oral Histories of Hispanic Entrepreneurs at the University of Texas at El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in 2009: .
Mr. Galicia’s experience includes service as a small businesses consultant in the El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ community and to the local school districts and educational programs as an educational consultant. In 1995 Homero launched his venture as a business owner forming Galicia International as a computer hardware vendor and later migrated to computer software sales. He has been involved in the El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ business community since 1985 when he was the Director of the Minority Business Council at the El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Chamber of Commerce. He served as the Interim Executive Director of the El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Chamber of Commerce in 1991.
