As faculty or staff at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, you are the foundation — the bedrock — for student success. You have a unique perspective into the lives of our students and understand both how and where gifts to the University can offer the greatest impact.
WHY SHOULD I GIVE AS FACULTY OR STAFF?
As faculty and/or staff at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ you are deeply and directly engaged in the lives of our students. When you enhance the work you do with a gift to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, you get a front-row seat to watch your investment grow while playing an even larger role in the life of the University.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?
You should give any amount you feel comfortable giving. Philanthropy is a personal choice that you should make based on your priorities and objectives.
MAY I DESIGNATE A GIFT TO A PARTICULAR PROGRAM?
Yes. While scholarships are always a priority, you may designate your gift to any program, department, school or college on campus. Every gift, including yours, is important to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and makes an excellent higher education possible for the students we serve.
WHAT IF MY SPOUSE/PARTNER WORKS FOR A MATCHING GIFT COMPANY?
If your spouse/partner works for a matching gift company, your gift may be doubled or even tripled. Visit utep.edu/giving/matching-gifts to discover if your spouse/partner’s company is listed, or call our office to learn more.
HOW CAN I GIVE?
Payroll deduction
Payroll deduction is one of the most convenient ways to make a gift to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½.
To make a recurring gift through payroll deduction, and enter your ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ credentials.
Keep in mind that Federal law mandates that gifts and pledges made through payroll deduction be deducted on an after-tax basis. You can claim the tax deduction when you file your taxes.
One-time gift

If you prefer to make a gift with a personal check, please include your preferred area/program/fund to support on the memo line and make the check payable to:
