Jaime Nava
Jaime Nava, a Computer Science doctoral student at The University of Texas at El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ has been selected to receive a prestigious Google scholarship in the amount of $10,000.
Nava, who expects to complete his PhD in the fall of 2011, earned both this undergraduate and master ’s degrees at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in the field of Computer Science.
According to Nava, this is one of the best scholarships that a student can get.
"In Computer Science they do a very good job of supporting students through PhD aspirations. I may have still been able to pay for school but it would have been very, very tight. I was very excited when I learned that I was selected for this scholarship."
