Welcome to the first edition of the Woody L. Hunt College of Business Faculty Research Newsletter. This publication marks an important milestone for our college as we celebrate the depth, rigor, and impact of the scholarly work produced by our faculty.

At the Hunt College of Business, our mission is to deliver a high-quality education that prepares students to succeed in an increasingly complex and global business environment. Faculty research plays a central role in this mission. It informs our teaching, advances knowledge, and helps us develop innovative, engaged, and ethical business leaders, individuals who make meaningful and lasting contributions to the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ del Norte region and far beyond.

Our location at the U.S.–Mexico border provides a powerful context for discovery. Through our research centers, institutes, and corporate academies, faculty leverage the region's international and multicultural character to produce impactful scholarship and create distinctive experiential learning opportunities for students. The work highlighted in this newsletter reflects the spirit of collaboration, relevance, and global engagement that defines our college.

This newsletter is designed to showcase faculty achievements, introduce our new colleagues, and strengthen our research community. It also highlights the contributions of our Ph.D. graduates, whose research reflects the same standards of rigor and relevance that define our faculty and plays a vital role in advancing the college’s scholarly impact. We hope it serves as both a recognition of the research by Hunt College faculty and a catalyst for new ideas, partnerships, and collaborations.
