Hunt Business Builds Alumni Momentum at Second DeadBeach Mixer
The Big Picture
The Woody L. Hunt College of Business brought together about 50 alumni and supporters from across its MBA community for an alumni mixer at DeadBeach Brewery.
Hosted in partnership with the Hunt Business Alumni Network, the event connected attendees from Online, Professional and Executive MBA cohorts.
Why It Matters
The mixer reflected Hunt Business’ continued effort to strengthen relationships with alumni and create more direct pathways for graduates to stay connected to the college.
The event brought together current students, recent graduates and established alumni, with attendees representing MBA cohorts from 2009 to 2026 — including strong participation from the 2024 and 2026 cohorts.
What Happened
Rick and Ginger Francis Dean John Hadjimarcou, Ph.D., gave remarks to attendees, sharing updates on the college and previewing upcoming enhancements to the student experience at Hunt Business.
Hadjimarcou also invited alumni to stay connected through Hunt Business Champions, an initiative that gives alumni and industry professionals a pathway to connect with students through speaking, mentoring and professional engagement.
Hunt Business Alumni Network President Claudia de la Rosa shared that the network recently to support student success.
