One San Jacinto Plaza Lighting Celebrates ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s Homecoming, COBA’s 2019 Outstanding Alumni

One San Jacinto Plaza will illuminate its façade in ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ colors from September 27 through October 5 to celebrate the University’s homecoming, along with the Woody L. Hunt College of Business Gold Nugget and Distinguished Alumni recipients.
Every year, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ honors a group of alumni who have achieved excellence in their chosen fields and serve as pillars of inspiration to future Miners for what can be accomplished through integrity, dedication and determination. This group of outstanding graduates are the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Distinguished Alumni and the Gold Nuggets.
This year, the Woody L. Hunt College of Business Distinguished Alumni recipients are Roberto Coronado, Ph.D., Miguel Stevenson Fernandez Jr. and Rodrigo Fernandez. The College’s Gold Nugget recipients are Paul Dipp and Lisa Lavigne Saucedo.
The Distinguished Alumni award honors a group of men and women whose achievements stand out as monuments to dedication, integrity and hard work and is the highest recognition bestowed upon alumni of the University.
The ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Graduate Business Center is an important part of the College’s portfolio. Located at One San Jacinto Plaza, the facility is home to the College’s professional graduate programs - the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ MBA and the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Master of Accountancy (MAcc). Nearly 300 working professionals at various stages of their careers pursue their ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ graduate business degrees in the heart of downtown El ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½.
